I won’t tell you to write it off, because I got so much of my early experience there- but at least visit first. It sounds hollow and focused on marketing and key words, and the magic that drew me to apply is missing. There are good intentions I think, but it is now being ran more like a business than a place of education. Sadly, Arcadia does not seem to be the place that it was anymore. Remember to consider the vast study abroad program there were many great places to go. If you would like to try out campus work study, there used to be some great programs you could participate in. The coursework was sometimes rigorous, but there was always help available. It was an incredibly special place to be because of the students who went there, and the faculty members’ commitment to creating an engaging and inclusive environment.

I’ll always never forget my experience her at IUP. Life as an international student has been exciting and wonderful. I am so proud of being a member of this welcoming community with core values in diversity and inclusion. We have a lot of programs offered at all educational levels ranging from undergraduate programs to doctorate programs. Everything is made available to students, from the food to campus facilities, housing, health and also, jobs on campus. At first, I experienced immerse culture shock but with the help of the students and faculty members, I was able to overcome that experience. I came a here alone with no one but IUP gave me home like no other. My campus is a very diverse campus open to everyone in the community. Senior: I am a current international student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP).
